Welcome to the  Standing Committee on Education and Science & Technology home page.  The Committee was constituted in April 2004 and re-constituted in April 2006 in terms of Rule 140 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988. The Standing Committee has a strength of 12 Members. Four Members belong to the opposition parties while the rest are from the ruling party and its allies. The Standing Committee holds a notable membership of educational experts and eminent scholars. Senator Mrs. Razina Alam Khan heads the Committee as an elected Chairperson.
